Gas Chromatography Certificates

Gas chromatography reports typically run into 5 or 6 sheets of paper, and require the interpretation of a qualified chemist who is an expert in essential oils.

With new batches of oils arriving on a weekly basis it is completely impractical for any supplier to keep their website updated with these large reports for each and every batch.

However, Amphora do provide Gas Chromatography Summary sheets, which provide typical values that have been averaged out over a number of recent batches. These 'typical value' summaries are the same type of reports as you may see from other suppliers.

The Amphora reports can be viewed by clicking on the following links. These documents are in the common PDF format. In the unlikely event that you do not have this installed you can download it for free by clicking here.

Quinessence do not provide these summary sheets, as they consider them to be of little value. However, we can supply the full detailed Gas Chromatography report on a specific oil and batch on request.

All Quinessence oils are subjected to intensive testing including qualitative and quantitative analytical procedures, sensory evaluation, odour testing, physical parameter testing (Specific Gravity, Optical Rotation and Refractive Index), and of course Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry testing.
